Microsoft’s upcoming Windows Phone 8.1 update will come with Cortana, a personal digital assistant designed to beat Siri and Google Now. Cortana is the named taken from the Halo series and will replace bing feature in the windows phone. The newly introduced Cortana takes directly on Siri and Google Now.

Taking a look over the images you can see the Cortana logo which looks quite immpresive, it keeps on changing it position and color as you talk with her. You can switch between male and female voice.
Cortana is much similar to the Siri as it sets your nickname and assist you everywhere. This new application will make the value of Windows Phone higher and hope will bring Microsoft some more sales. A key part of Cortana is the ability to save information and data in a Notebook system. Notebook will allow the Cortana digital assistant to access information such as location data, behaviors, personal information, reminders, and contact information.
Cortana will take care of everything you does on your phone and will guide you every moment. Microsoft is expected to unveil Cortana at its upcoming Build conference, and the company will also release a developer preview of Windows Phone 8.1 at the same time.
